How to add an image to a sound in the SmoredBoard
The SmoredBoard allows users to customize sound buttons with images through two simple methods.
Method 1: Using the Integrated Browser
You can search for images directly within the application's browser. After locating a desired image, right-clicking reveals a context menu with two options:
- - "Add Image To Last Imported Sound Button"
- - "Add Image To Current Selected Sound Button"

Important: The profile being used must be unlocked to allow images to be added.
Method 2: Drag and Drop
This approach works with locally saved images:
- 1. Supported formats:
.png,.jpg,.jpeg,.webp, or.avif - 2. Select first: Click the sound button you want to customize before adding the image — selection is crucial because the image will always apply to the currently selected sound
- 3. Drag and drop: Move the image file from your computer onto the SmoredBoard window
Critical note: You must select the sound button first; dragging an image onto a button without prior selection won't associate the image with that sound.
Drag and Drop Not Working?
If you're unable to drag and drop images (or sounds) into the SmoredBoard, this is typically caused by running the application as Administrator. Check out our dedicated troubleshooting guide: Drag and Drop Not Working
