Locked vs Unlocked Profiles

What Are Profiles?

Profiles in SmoredBoard are collections of sounds that you can organize and switch between. Think of them like folders for your sounds, so you can have one profile for one game, another for a different game, and maybe one for Discord or something.

Profiles can be either unlocked or locked, which determines what you can do with them.

Unlocked Profiles

Unlocked profiles are fully customizable. You have complete control over everything:

• Play all sounds
• Set keybinds for sounds
• Edit sound, change sound mode, and add effects
• Add new sounds
• Add or change images on sounds
• Rename sounds and the profile itself
• Reorganize sounds

With the Free version, you get 1 unlocked profile. With Pro, you get unlimited unlocked profiles.

Locked Profiles

Locked profiles are fully usable but not customizable. You can still play all the sounds, but you can't make changes:

• Play all sounds
• Set keybinds for sounds
• Edit sound, change sound mode, and add effects
• Cannot add new sounds
• Cannot change or add images
• Cannot rename sounds or the profile
• Cannot reorganize sounds

Locked profiles are perfect for importing profiles shared by other users while keeping your unlocked profile free for customization. You can have unlimited locked profiles in the Free verison of the SmoredBoard, and in Pro all profiles become unlocked.
