How To Update SmoredBoard
Learn how to update SmoredBoard using the built-in updater or by manually installing the latest version.
Automatic Update Prompt
When a new update is available, SmoredBoard will notify you automatically when you open the app.
1. Open SmoredBoard
2. If an update is available, you'll see a notification or prompt
3. Click the "Launch Updater" button to download and install the update
The update will be downloaded and installed automatically. SmoredBoard may restart to complete the update.
Check for Updates Manually
You can manually check for updates at any time through the Settings menu.
1. Open Settings in SmoredBoard
2. Navigate to the "General" tab
3. Click the "Check for Update" button
If an update is available, you'll be prompted to download and install it.
Manual Installation (Fallback)
If the built-in updater isn't working, you can update by downloading a fresh installer from the website.
1. Go to the SmoredBoard website
2. Download the latest installer
3. Run the installer
The installer will automatically detect your existing SmoredBoard installation and run as an updater, preserving your profiles and settings.
