How To Uninstall and Reinstall the CABLE Devices
This tutorial addresses audio routing issues with VB-Cable devices. When installation problems prevent audio from flowing between CABLE Input and Output, reinstalling the devices provides a solution.
Step 1: Download the Installer
Visit the VB-Cable website and download the "New Package" for Windows. Extract the resulting ZIP file containing the driver pack.

Step 2: Remove Current Installation
- 1. Locate the
VBCABLE_Setup_x64.exefile (or non-x64 version if needed) within the extracted folder - 2. Run it as administrator
- 3. Select the "Remove Driver" option

- 4. Restart your computer
Step 3: Install Fresh Drivers
- 1. After restarting, open the same setup executable again
- 2. Choose to install the driver
- 3. Restart your computer again
Summary
The procedure involves three main phases: obtaining the official VB-Cable installer, removing the problematic installation with an administrative restart, and installing fresh drivers followed by a final restart. This straightforward process often resolves audio routing complications without requiring advanced technical knowledge.
